OLED technology enables the world's best displays, and as OLEDs can be made flexible, light, thin and highly efficient, these displays are taking over many markets such as smartphones, TVs, VR and wearables. Another field where OLED displays are being adopted is the tablet market.

AMOLED displays traditionally found it more difficult to penetrate the tablet market as larger displays are more expensive to produce. But this is changing as OLED displays production costs are coming down. Samsung is leading the OLED tablet market, and its high-end Galaxy Tab tablet models are mostly using AMOLED displays. Other companies are also introduce AMOLED displays in tablet devices. It is reported that Apple will release its first OLED iPad at 2024

Dell Venue 10 7000

Dell's Venue 10 7000 is a 10.5" tablet that uses Samsung's WQXGA (2560x1600) Super AMOLED display (287 PPI) - the same display used by Samsung's in their own Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablets. The tablet features Android 5.0, Intel's Atom Z3580 CPU, 16GB/32GB of memory, microSD slot, 2GB of RAM, 8MP camera (Intel's RealSense 3D) and an optional keyboard.

The Venue 10 will ship towards the end of April 2015 for $499 (32GB).

Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-03G

Fujitsu's Tab F-03G is a large tablet that uses a 10.5" WQXGA (2560x1600) Super AMOLED display (made by SDC, the same one used in Samsung's Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Other features include a quad-core 2.3Ghz CPU and a quad-core GPU, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 7840 mAh battery and Android 4.4.2. The tablet is waterproof and dustproof.
