Pioneer announced that it has agreed to cooperate with Mitsubishi Chemical on OLED Lighting.
Pioneer was the first company to produce OLED panels, and the company had an active AMOLED project, but it has exited from the AMOLED display market in 2005.
Mitsubishi Chemical is already developing OLED lighting technologies, based on solution processing. Mitsubishi is working with UDC to adopt its phosphorescent OLED materials to solution processing.
