EMDEOLED

Germany based EMDEOLED was developing an OLED based light bulb (in which the glass is coated from the inside) for residential lighting in collaboration with the University of Technology Braunschweig. To achieve this goal, the company developed inner-coating processes. In April 2013 the company presented first prototypes - using both SMOLED and P-OLED materials.

As far as we know EMDEOLED is no longer in business
