Samsung's ES9500 was the company's first OLED TV, a 55" active-shutter 3D Super OLED TV in fact as they call it. The ES9500 was never released, and Samsung unveiled an updated model (the F9500) in January 2013. Hopefully the F9500 will indeed be released in 2013.

The ES9500 included several smart interaction technologies including remote control, voice control, motion control and face recognition (it includes a camera). It featured a Smart Evolution upgradeable dual-core CPU and Dual-View technology (enables two different 2D program via the active-shutter 3D glasses). Samsung says that color reproduction is 20% better compared to LED LCDs, but they wouldn't reveal more technical details.
