The latest company that will soon be showing OLED Lighting panels is Panasonic Electric Works (PEW). They will show a square panel at the Light+Building 2010 exhibition in Germany next week, and also in the Milano Salone exhibition in Italy.
We don't have any technical information (efficiency, brightness, size) about the panels, hopefully they'll disclose more during the exhibitions.

These are OLED (Organic LEDs), not LEDs (inOrganic).
I first saw these type of led panels around 6 or 7 years ago - German.
Then I saw a chinese version 3 years ago that was brighter than what is shown here.
Not sure how this is any better? Unless the capital costs are low and it is a viable alternative to fluorescent lighting?
