China-based Hyperions develops and produces materials for the OLED industry. The company's main products include HTL, HIL, ETL and EIL materials.

In April 2023 Hyperions announced it plans an IPO, and that the company is profitable.

Valiant

Excyton

​UK-based Excyton (previously known as PeroLED) was established in 2019 to develop novel light emitting materials, devices and architectures for next-generation displays.

Excyton is currently focused on a novel OLED device structure, called TurboLED, which is a stacked display architecture that uses a combination of light-color and deep-color RGB materials to reduce the power consumption and expand the color gamut of OLED displays. TurboLED can also be applied to other light-emitting display technologies, such as MicroLEDs.

 

In 2020, Excyton received a $2 million seed investment.

3M

CLAP

CLAP logoKorea-based CLAP develops materials and solutions for the organic semiconductors and display industries. The company has over 700 patents.

In 2019 the company signed an agreement with BASF that enables CLAP to manufacture optical films using BASF's Liquid Crystal materials and coating technology. In 2022 CLAP announced it developed a liquid crystal based OLED retardation film.

Tetrahedron Technology

Tetrahedron Technology logoTaiwan-based Tetrahedron Technology (also known as Jingyi Technology Co.) was established in 2000, focusing on the development of OLED materials. The company's core capabilities are in material design, synthesis, purification, analysis and production.

Xi'an Kaixiang photo electric
