Hyperions

China-based Hyperions develops and produces materials for the OLED industry. The company's main products include HTL, HIL, ETL and EIL materials.

In April 2023 Hyperions announced it plans an IPO, and that the company is profitable.

Tokyo Chemical Industry

Tokyo Chemical Industry (TCI) is a global manufacturer and distributor of specialty organic chemicals with facilities in the USA, Europe, Japan, China and India.

LT Materials

Korea-based LT Materials, a subsidiary of LT Group, produces materials for the electronics industry, such as solder materials, MCCL, and more.

LT Materials produces materials used in the production of OLED displays.

Valiant (formerly Yantai Valiant Fine Chemicals), is a holding company and chemical maker, that is active in the areas of information materials, environmental protection materials and pharmaceutical materials.

Valiant's subsidiary Yantai Gem Chemicals produces intermediates OLED and LCD materials. In 2023 the company announced plans to spin-off and list its OLED subsidiary.

Excyton

UK-based Excyton (previously known as PeroLED) was established in 2019 to develop novel light emitting materials, devices and architectures for next-generation displays.

Excyton is currently focused on a novel OLED device structure, called TurboLED, which is a stacked display architecture that uses a combination of light-color and deep-color RGB materials to reduce the power consumption and expand the color gamut of OLED displays. TurboLED can also be applied to other light-emitting display technologies, such as MicroLEDs.

In 2020, Excyton received a $2 million seed investment.

3M

The 3M Company, based in the US, operates in the fields of industry, worker safety, U.S. health care, and consumer goods. The company produces a wide range of products (over 60,000, in fact) including adhesives, abrasives, laminates, passive fire protection, protection films, dental and orthodontic products, electrical and electronic connecting and insulating materials, and optical films.

3M's Display Materials and solutions Division (DMSD) is offering several products for the OLED industry - transparent adhesives (OCAs), micro/nanoreplication technologies, printable optical materials, and multilayered optical films.

CLAP

Korea-based CLAP develops materials and solutions for the organic semiconductors and display industries. The company has over 700 patents.

In 2019 the company signed an agreement with BASF that enables CLAP to manufacture optical films using BASF's Liquid Crystal materials and coating technology. In 2022 CLAP announced it developed a liquid crystal based OLED retardation film.

Tetrahedron Technology

Taiwan-based Tetrahedron Technology (also known as Jingyi Technology Co.) was established in 2000, focusing on the development of OLED materials. The company's core capabilities are in material design, synthesis, purification, analysis and production.

Tetrahedron a wide range of services, including OLED materials R&D, OLED materials production, OLED properties analysis, OLED materials quality verification and more.

Xi'an Kaixiang photo electric

Xi'an Kaixiang Photoelectric Technology, also known as CSOAR is an independent chemical developer and producer. The company offers materials for the display industry and the pharmaceutical industry.

For the display industry offers OLED intermediates (mostly furan series, carbazole series and biphenyl series) and liquid crystal displays.
