SinoWealth, an IC developer from Shanghai, currently offers PMOLED drivers, but the company is now starting to develop AMOLED drivers as well.
In a statement to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the company said that it is optimistic about an "explosive growth of the domestic AMOLED market in the next few years". The company also expects its AMOLED driver to be used in a future holographic phone.
There are several Chinese AMOLED developers that are moving forward towards mass production, most notably BOE, EverDisplay (they aim to become China's first AMOLED maker) and CSOT (TCL).
