The Galaxy K Zoom is a hybrid phone-camera device, sporting 20.7MP 10X optical zoom rear camera (and a 2MP front one) and a 4.8" 720p Super AMOLEDÂ display. It also features an 8-core CPU, LTE, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. and Android 4.4.
Samsung hasn't revealed the price or launch details of the Galaxy K Zoom yet.
Sony's a6000 is a midrange mirrorless camera that replaces the NEX-6. It features a 24 Mp sensor, an ultra fast autofocus (Sony says it's the world's fastest), Wi-Fi, NFC, HDMI output and a 3" LCD and an SVGA (800x600) OLED EVF.
The a6000 will ship in April for $800.
Nikon's AW120 is a rugged, shockproof, waterproof and cold resistant compact digital camera that features a 16 mp sensor, 5X zoom, GPS, Wi-Fi, Full-HD video and a 3" 921k-dot OLED display.
The S9700 is a superzoom (30X) digital camera that features a 16 mp sensor, Wi-Fi, GPS, Full-HD (1080p @ 30p) video support, manual controls and a 3" VGA AMOLED display.
The S9700 (in black or red) will ship towards the end of February for $350.
The DMC-GH4 is Panasonic's 2014 flagship micro four thirds camera that can shoot 4K videos with a new Venus Engine IX processor. This 16mp camera has two OLED displays - a 3" 1.04M dot fully-articulating display and an OLED EVF (with over 2 million dots). Other features include Wi-Fi and NFC.
Fujifilm's X-T1 is a compact weatherproof DSLR camera that features an X-Mount, a 16.3 MP sensor, a 3" tilting LCD and a fast EXR processor (0.5 seconds start-up time, 0.05-second shutter lag and 0.5 second shooting interval). The X-T1 has an OLED EVF (2.36 million dots).
Samsung's NX30 is a mirrorless camera that features a 20.3 MP sensor, Wi-Fi, fast hybrid autofocusing system and a microphone input. The display is a touch 3" Super AMOLED with 1.04 million pixels.
Sony's A7 is the world's first full-frame (24.3 mp) mirrorless camera. The A7 sports an XGA (1024x768) OLED EVF and a 3" LCD. Other features include Full-HD 60fp video, HDMI output (with support for 4K images). The A7R flagship model uses a 36.3 mp sensor without a low-pass filter.
The A7 will be available in December 2013 for $1,700Â (body only), while the A7R will cost $2,300.
Sony's RX10 is a premium super-zoom camera featuring a large 1-inch sensor (20.2 mp) and a 24-200 fixed lens with a constant f/2.8 aperture. The viewfinder is an SVGA (800x600) OLED EVF. Other features include Full-HD video (60fp), HDMI output, Wi-Fi and a 3" LCD.
The GS4 Zoom is an Android v4.2 smartphone that has a 10X optical zoom and a 16 mp sensor. The display is a 4.3" qHD (960x540) Super AMOLED display. Other features include a 1.5 Ghz dual-core CPU, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal flash and a micro SD slot. Despite the S4 in the name, it isn't as powerful as the GS4, but Samsung says it has the "stylish heritage of the latest GALAXY S4 smartphone".
The GS4 Zoom will launch towards the end of 2013, Samsung wouldn't reveal the price yet.
