Zeon Corporation, established in 1950 in Japan, develops and produces chemicals, plastics, rubbers and other materials for a wide range of industries.
Zeon has two products for the OLED market: ZeoCoat, a high-performance coatable organic insulator and ZeonorFilm, a flexible retardation film that enables low-reflectance with improved contrast used for both OLED TVs and mobile OLED displays.
In late 2017 Zeon announced it is expanding its ZeonorFilm production capacity as demand from OLED panel makers grows.
