Visionox announced that it is set to sign a patent license agreement with Japan's Semiconductor Energy Laboratory (SEL).

Visionox did not detail which of SEL's OLED patents it will have a license to, but it did say that these new patents relate both to OLED panel and OLED module production, and access to these patents will enable it to increase its OLED device performance, and also to accelerate its R&D and improve its manufacturing processes.
SEL, established in 1980, engages with research and development across many fields, and is very active with OLED technology research. In recent years, SEL developed flexible and foldable OLED technologies, OLED device structures, novel OLED materials, production processes, OLED CAAC-IGZO backplanes, microdisplay architectures, and more.
