Visionox ramps up ViP AMOLED production at its V3 pilot line, supplying wearable and smartphone OLEDs to Xiaomi and Honor

Reports from Korea suggest that Visionox has increased its ViP AMOLED display capacity, at its low-volume pilot line, located at its V3 production line in Hebei, China.

According to the reports, Visionox started producing ViP smartphone and wearable OLED panels, supplying these to Xiaomi and Honor.

Visionox is targeting a small number of panels, 3 million units per year, of both wearable and smartphone panels. It has already shipped 1 million panels to its customers. It is likely that the company's main goal is to improve its technology and yields, as its main goal is to initiate production at its V5 8.6-Gen ViP line in a couple of years.
