UBI Research says that OLED monitor panel shipments reached 3.2 million units in 2025, up 64% from 2024 (1.95 million units). This fast growth will continue in 2026 as well.
UBI says that the higher demand for OLED monitor shipments is thanks to strategic shifts by OLED panel makers. Samsung Display has changed its focus from TVs to monitors for its QD-OLED panels, thanks fo rthe higher profitability offered by high-end monitors. LG Display, likewise, is increasing its efforts to target the monitor industry with its large-area WOLED panels.
LG Display shipped only 100,000 OLED monitor panels in 2023 (the first year it targeted this market segment), and increased shipments to around 200,000 panels in 2024 and about 400,000 panels in 2025.
China's TCL CSOT is also targeting OLED monitor panels for its future inkjet printing 8.6-Gen OLED fab, and in the future it is expected to grab a market share as well.
