TrendForce says that OLED monitor shipments grew to about 507,000 units in Q1 2025, up 175% from last year. Shipments are expected to reach 650,000 units in Q2 2025, thanks to strong demand, mostly for 27-inch 4K models. Looking at the whole year, TrendForce expects shipments to reach 2.58 million units, up 81% from 2024. OLED penetration of the total monitor market will reach 2%.
Samsung Electronics leads the market with a 22% market share. It's current flagship 49-inch models account for 40% of sales, but TrendForce says that its upcoming 27" will soon become its best-selling size.
Asus holds the second place in the market, with a 21.5% market share, and MSI is third with a 14% share, as it aggressively expanding into new sales channels and introducing new models. MSI's OLED shipments increased 36-fold from Q1 2024. The third place in the OLED monitor market is LG Electronics with a 13% market share followed by Dell with a 11% share.
