Sunic System announced that it has been accepted into the Korean Government's Super B Enterprise national R&D initiative. Sunic will be awarded a 7-year support budget, to develop an AI-based OLED deposition platform.
In this platform, Sunic plans to integrate AI analysis functions, sensors, edge AI technology, and an integrated operating platform. The on-board AI technologies will enable enhanced process anomalies detection, and optimized operations.
Sunic says that in current production tools, skilled engineers are required to increase the production efficiency and handle the complex operation and processes. Utilizing AI, Sunic hopes that the systems will be easier to operate - and thus enable lower-cost OLED production.
