Tianma is not amongst the world three leading OLED producers (Samsung, BOE and LG Display), but it is a strong competitor, and holds an estimated 8-10% of the total smartphone AMOLED market. Tianma company history, from LCD to AMOLED
Tianma was established in 1983, in Shenzhen, China, as a manufacturer of LCD displays. In 2006 the company built its first a-Si TFT LCD line, in Shanghai 2006. By 2009, it had similar fabs in Chengdu and Wuhan.
