Origins and Early History

Everdisplay Optronics was established in October 2012 in Shanghai with the explicit aim of becoming China's first AMOLED producer. This milestone marked a significant achievement for the Chinese display industry, as EDO indeed became the nation's first company to successfully commercialize AMOLED technology.
