Sony's Wena are smart watch bands that are used to transfer watches into smartwatches. The Wrist Pro can show notifications from your smartphone, count your steps and supports several contacteless payment providers (in Japan). The Wrist Active (even though it is cheaper) adds a built-in GPS and a heart rate monitor. Both editions include a small white PMOLED display.
In addition to the wrist bands, Sony also offers a collection of premium timepieces (watch heads) that fit the new bands.
Sony will soon start shipping thew new wrist bands at the UK at first - £349 for the Wrist Active and £399 for the Pro (note: affiliate links to Amazon).
