Korea-based OLED materials maker Solus Advanced Materials has inaugurated its new OLED material production base in Iksan, North Jeolla Province. It has already initiated mass production at the new fab, that doubles its total OLED material capacity.
Solus believes the new production site will enable it to increase the quality while reducing production costs, enabling the company to increase its competitiveness. Solus also says that this new fab will enable it to accelerate its R&D and introduce new OLED materials more quickly than before.
Last month Solus Advanced Materials reported its financial results for 2025, with sales of $420 million, up from 8% in 2024, and an operating loss of $49 million. The company says its loss stems from weak copper foil for batteries business. For its OLED business unit, Solus reported sales of $86 million, similar to its OLED material sales in 2024. It says it plans to increase its OLED sales in 2026 by 10% to $95 million.
