China-based OLED microdisplay developer Sidtek have signed an agreement with Miangyang's local government to build a 4 billion Yuan (around $550 million USD) 12-inch OLED microdisplay fab.
This new fab will be Sitek's third OLED microdisplay panel production line - it has recently started production at its 12-inch fab in Wuhu, Anhui Province, and it also operates a smaller 8-inch production line in Wuhu as well. Sidtek also building a OLED microdisplay module production line in Meishan, Sichuan.
