Samsung SDI said that its cumulative shipments of PMOLED panels have exceeded 30 million units since mass production began in August 2002. The 30-million mark came just eight months after the company's shipments of OLED panels passed 20 million units in February this year, Samsung SDI said.
Samsung SDI is currently building a new PMOLED fab in the southern port city of Busan with a monthly production capacity of 3.5 million units, it said.
