Samsung Galaxy S2 and Tab 2 specs and a new 4" 3D display

Samsung's Galaxy S2, the successor to the popular Galaxy S is now official -and it has a 4.3" Super AMOLED plus display, 1Ghz dual-core processor, NFC, Bluetooth 3 and HSPA+.

According to reports, the display offers 800x480 (WVGA) resolution - the same as the Galaxy S' Super-AMOLED which is smaller at 4". This is rather strange...

Samsung also revealed details about the new tablet, the Galaxy Tab 2 - which will have a 10.1" (1280x800) display which is not an AMOLED - which isn't surprising. The Tab 2 will have a 1Ghz processor and Android 3.0. Not exactly according to the specs leaked a few weeks ago...

Finally, Samsung is said to be working on a new 4" WVGA glasses-free 3D display that can be controlled by moving your phone (Samsung calls this "Motion UI") - for example you can zoom in (or out) by tilting your phone or pan in Google Maps by moving it. We do not know yet whether this 3D display is an OLED or an LCD.
