Samsung Display has published a public call-out for Korean Universities to propose new display research projects, in a wide range of areas focusing on OLED displays and next-generation displays.

SDC will select up to 10 projects, and will award 100-200 million Won ($70,000 - $150,000 USD) per year to each project. Our of these 10 projects, 2-3 projects will receive an additional 600 million Won ($430,000 USD) over two years.
Samsung hopes that this call will enable it to strengthen its technology competitiveness, mainly in the areas of OLED display technologies, foldable and stretchable displays, and microLEDs. This is in addition to SDC's display research centers that it has established in 2014 at several Universities.
