BLACKBODY and FLOS announce the first commercialization of “LIGHT PHOTON”.

“LIGHT PHOTON” is an OLED table lamp developed by BLACKBODY for FLOS. This unique design by Philippe Starck, has been presented in parallel, at the Light and Building, in Frankfurt and at the “Salone del mobile” in Milan in April 2010. The lamp’s light source is a 47cm x 37cm single evaporation OLED device, with an active area of 1001cm², a color temperature of 2800K and a CRI above 80. The “LIGHT PHOTON” perfectly demonstrates a new possible design balance, where the OLED as a source of light is an integral part of the design.

The first products is available for sale at MOSS (150 Greene Street New York, NY 10012).
