Omdia says that it large-area OLED shipments will grow 18.8% in 2026, to reach 38.8 million units, thanks to high demand for OLED monitors and laptop displays.
In general the large-area display market (LCD + OLED) will shrink 2.3% to 916.9 million units in 2026.
Omdia says that in the first half of the year we saw pulled-forward demand, and large-area display demand will slow in the second half of 2026, due to rising component prices, recent geopolitical tensions, and increased uncertainty across the global economy.
