Omdia says that foldable OLED panel shipments are expected to continue growing in the future, to reach 124.6 million units in 2032. In 2024, the market grew 6.5% (to 23.1 million units), driven by 20 new foldable model launches. In 2025, the grow will slow to 1.6% (23.5 million units).
In 2026, the primary catalyst will be Apple's (potential) entry into the market. This will fundamentally validate the foldable category and ignite demand far beyond the current Android ecosystem.
