List of OLED monitors on the market

OLED display technology enables the world's best displays - with superb image quality, low response times, low power consumption. OLEDs can enable thin, light and even flexible monitors. OLEDs however found it difficult to enter the monitor market due mostly to burn-in challenges and high production costs.

Some device makers however are introducing OLED monitors, mostly premium monitors for the health and broadcasting industries. It is hoped that in the future OLED monitors will also appear for the consumer market. For OLED monitor industry news coverage, click here.

Following is a list of OLED monitors on the market:

 

Alienware AW3423DW

Dell's Alienware AW3423DW gaming monitor sports a curved 34-inch QD-OLED panels that offers a resolution of 3440x1440, 175Hz refresh rate and a response time of 0.1 ms. The AW3423DW supports Nvidia G-SYnc and is DisplayHDR 400 True Black certified.

Dell says its QD-OLED monitor will ship by March 2022, and will cost $1,299.

LG UltraFine OLED Pro monitor 32EP950

LG's first OLED monitor, the UltraFine OLED Pro (32EP950) feature a 4K 31.5-inch OLED display, that sports a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 99% DCI-P3 coverage and 99% Adobe RGB coverage.

The OLED Pro monitor has six interfaces (2X Displayport, 1X HDMI and 3X USB) and supports KVM. This is a high-end broadcast quality monitor aimed for professional use.

Viewsonic VX2722-4K-OLED

ViewSonic's VX2722-4K-OLED is a 27-inch 60hz 4K monitor that uses a printed OLED panel produced by JOLED. The VX2722-4K-OLED is aimed towards content creators and professionals. The monitor offers a 0.1 ms G2G response time, 540 nits peak brightness, 10-bit colour depth and 100% DCI-P3 and 109% Adobe RGB color gamuts.

The OLED monitor will ship by the end of 2023.

Acer Predator X27U/X45

Acer's Predator range of OLED monitors include the 27-inch 2560x1440 X27U and 45-inch 3440x1440 ultrawide curved X45. Both monitors offer 0.01ms G2G response time, 240Hz refresh rate, VRR and are certified for AMD FreeSync Premium. The screens offer a displayport 1.4 and dual HDMI 2.0.

Acer's new OLED monitors will ship in Q2 2023, with a price of $1,099 for the 27" and $1,699 for the 45-inch model. The screens use LG's latest WOLED panels.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G9

Samsung's Odyssey OLED G95SC is an ultra-wide gaming monitor based on a 49-inch 5120x1440 resolution, 240Hz, 1800R curved QD-OLED panel. We do not know any other specifications.

Dough Spectrum OLED

Dough Spectrum OLED is a high end monitor based on LG's 27" 240Hz 2560x1440 OLED display. The monitor offers an HDMI 2.1 port, DisplayPort 1.4, VRR, ALLM and one-cable USB-C charging and data.

The Dough Spectrum OLED will ship in July 2023 with a current price tag of $649 at the company's crowdfunding stage. Final price will increase to $1,099.

Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDM

The Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDM is a 27" 2560x1440 240Hz OLED gaming monitor. There's not much else known about this upcoming monitor.

The Swift OLED PG27AQDM will ship by the end of Q1 2023.

LG UltraGear 27GR95QE-B

LG's UltraGear 27GR95QE-B is a gaming monitor with a 27" 2560x1440 240Hz 0.3ms (GtG) response time OLED display. The monitor is certified for both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync.
