List of OLED monitors on the market

OLED display technology enables the world's best displays - with superb image quality, low response times, low power consumption. OLEDs can enable thin, light and even flexible monitors. OLEDs however found it difficult to enter the monitor market due mostly to burn-in challenges and high production costs.

Some device makers however are introducing OLED monitors, mostly premium monitors for the health and broadcasting industries. It is hoped that in the future OLED monitors will also appear for the consumer market. For OLED monitor industry news coverage, click here.

Following is a list of OLED monitors on the market:

 

ViewSonic XG272-2K-OLED

The ViewSonic XG272-2K-OLED is a gaming monitor based on a 27" 240Hz 0.01 ms refresh rate 2560x1440 OLED panel. The monitor is Blur Busters Verified and offers AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible support, a wireless remote controller, including dual HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with 15w charging, and various USB-A and USB-B ports.

ViewSonic did not yet detail the price or shipment date of its new OLED gaming monitor.

Dell Alienware AW2725DF / AW3225QF

Dell's 2024 range of QD-OLED monitors include two models. The 27" AW2725DF offers a flat 2560x1440 360Hz QD-OLED panel, 0.03 GtG response time, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.

The AW3225QD boasts a 32" 240Hz 4K (3840x2160) curved QD-OLED panel, that offers up to 1000 nits peak brightness, 0.03 GtG response time, and Dolby Vision HDR certification.

HP Omen Transcend 32

HP's Omen Transcend 32 gaming monitor offers a 32" 240Hz 4K (3480x2160) QD-OLED panel, with a 0.03 GtG response time, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility.

HP did not yet detail the price or availability of its  Omen Transcend 32 QD-OLED gaming monitor.

Gigabyte AORUS 2024 QD-OLED monitor range

Gigabyte's 2024 AORUS range of monitors include five models, all featuring QD-OLED displays.

The top of the line is the FO32U2P, with a 31.5" 4K (3840x2160) 240Hz QD-OLED panel . It is, according to Gigabyte, the world's first DP2.1 UHBR20 OLED gaming monitor. It also offers up to 1000 nits of brightness (peak) and VESA ClearMR 13000 and DisplayHDR 400 True Black certifications.

Asus ZenScreen Fold OLED

The Asus ZenScreen Fold OLED (model MQ17QH) is a portable 17.3" 2560x1920 foldable AMOLED display. When the monitor is closed, it has a 12.5" form factor. The monitor weighs 1.17 Kg, and is 9.7 mm thick.

Asus did not yet announce the price or availability of its foldable OLED mobile monitor.

Acer Predator X34 X / X39

Acer's Predator X34 X OLED gaming monitor offers a 34" curved (800R) 3440x1440 240Hz OLED display, with a peak brightness of 450 nits. The X39 offers a similar display but is larger at 39".

Acer will ship the new 2024 OLED gaming monitors in Q2 2024, at $1,300 for the X34 X and $1,500 for the Predator X39.

Samsung Odyssey G8 / G6

Samsung's 2024 flat-panel QD-OLED gaming monitor series starts with the G6, a 27-inch 1440p monitor that offers very fast 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03 response time. The G8 (model G80SD) is a larger monitor, with a 32" 240Hz QD-OLED panel. 

Samsung did not yet detail more about the upcoming G9 QD-OLED monitor.

Samsung 2024 Odyssey G9 (G95SD) gaming monitor offers a curved 49-inch 32:9 5120x1440 240Hz QD-OLED panel. The panel has a response time of 0.03.

LG UltraGear OLED GS95 / GS96

LG's UltraGear OLED GS95 family of 2024 OLED gaming monitors are all based on WOLED panels. Ranging from 27-inch to 45, the range includes six monitors (two flat, 27-inch and 32-inch, and four curved, in sizes 34-, 39- and 45-inch).

The top-of-the-range 32GS95UE has a flat 32-inch 4K (3,840 x 2,160) 240Hz OLED panel, that features LG's new Dual-HZ feature, that enables users to switch to a mode that reduces the resolution to FHD but increases the refresh rate to 480Hz. The monitor also offers LG's Pixel-Sound technology in which the speaker is integrated into the OLED panel itself (LG's Crystal Sound OLED).

Gigabyte AORUS CO49DQ

Gigabyte's AORUS CO49DQ gaming monitor offers an ultra-wide 49-inch 144Hz DQHD (5120x1440) curved QD-OLED panel, and special AI algorithms called OLED Care to minimize burn-in risk.

Gigabyte did not yet detail the price or release date of the CO49DQ monitor.
