Nice to see a realistic pricing on the unit, although being a premium unit, the current listing price here in Sweden (on a particular reseller; unit on order) is an equivalent to 7400usd which is a bit exorbitant for me.

My old Samsung LE40M61 (circa 2006) is still going strong but now I feel really confident getting an OLED TV regardless of how I do hate E-waste!

Clearly the panel is the expensive part. The rest of the features are nothing compared to the glass, so it can easily cost 4000$ and have HDR and whatnot.

Well, in that case - why the fcuk cant they make a true 120hz one with 0-120hz adaptivesync? (displayport 1.3/1.4 has enough bandwidth) And a game mode that disables everything except the said displayport connection - to get a 1-3ms input lag?

The price will stay almost the same anyway...

IF they do that - they suddenly have a whole new crowd looking at their TV.
