People who want to bet on OLED's future always seem to have this question - who is the better bet - UDC or CDT?
It seems like this week has given us good news for both. Sony will release 11" OLED TVs this year. Sony is a long time partner of UDC, and these TVs are likely to use UDC's PHOLED materials. TMDisplay and Toshiba have plans for PLED TVs, and they are CDT's licensee. Also OSRAM has some new large panels (5", 6.5") also sporting CDT's IP.
Interesting news. I'd love to start a discussion on those two companies here.
