Hodogaya reports lower OLED materials sales, gets ready to IPO its SFC subsidiary

Japan-based Hodogaya Chemical announced that it has experienced lower-than-expected sales of OLED materials, and so the company expects a decrease in revenues and profits in its 2026 fiscal year (which ends in March 2026).  in its functional colorants segment. 

For the OLED industry, Hodogaya mostly offers Hole Transport Materials (HTM) and Electron Transport Materials, but the company also offers other OLED stack materials, including emitters and host materials.

 

A few weeks ago Hodogaya's Sun Fine Chem (SFC), that specializes in the development of OLED materials with a focus on emitter materials, announced plans to IPO at the Korean stock exchange (KOSPI).
