AU Optronics (AUO) will showcase its latest Ultra HD TV panels including wide color gamut (WCG) units in addition to oTP and in-cell technologies at the 2014 Touch Taiwan exhibition.
The company will also showcase curved technologies for desktop applications, Ultra HD displays for professional applications, and high-end panels for smartphone and tablet applications.
Visitors to the exhibition can also expect to see new vehicle displays as well as various displays for use in gaming applications as part of the company's strategy to expand its product lineup.
AMOLED applications meanwhile will also be a focus for AUO. The company will showcase in-cell touch AMOLED panels for use in wearables in addition to flexible AMOLED displays and high-resolution smartphone AMOLED displays.
Touch Taiwan will take place from August 27-29 at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall.
