vexing question, not "To be or not to be", but "To Occlude or not to Occlude", the answer as given by Yuval Boger, Sensics CEO. All in light (pun) of HMDs closing the face entirely ala Rift or allowing some limited viewing, see your feet, or allowing some light to enter ala "Z". At this point "Immersion" seems to be the goal for fringey and non-fringey gamers. As a group they love the Rift and shrug off the Zeiss OLED Cinemizer and to a lesser extent the Sony HMZs. With the Cinemizer the beef could be resolution related but I also think reverse snobbery is the source of much of the attraction to the Rift, sort of a cheap way to Occupy Your Face and eschew the Big Boys as we wait their response assuming there is one. Eventually the LCD watch went away.
