BCDTek says that it has successfully installed the first production equipment at its upcoming K3 OLED module production line in Fengcheng, Jiangxi Province. BCDTEK is now starting trail production at the K3 line, and will hopefully ramp up production in the near future.

The K3 line produces two kinds of OLED modules - flexible AMOLED displays for consumer electronics and automotive applications, and OLED microdisplays for VR/AR applications.
BCDTEK's K3 module production line is being built in two phases. The first phase will be focused on flexible AMOLED modules, with a capacity of about 12 million OLED modules per year. The second phase will add a capacity of about 2.5 million OLED microdisplays. The first phase is now ramping up. BCDTek estimates that the total investment tin the Fengcheng K3 fab, across both phases, will reach 1 billion yuan - or around $143 million USD.
BCDTek is also building a new 12-inch OLED microdisplay fab (K2 fab) in Huainan, and has recently produced the first prototype. The company will soon start actual commercial production.
