Korea-based semiconductor and FPD equipment designer AP Systems says in H1 2026 it has seen strong demand for its core OLED equipment business coupled with excellent orders for its semiconductor systems. The company reported record revenues of $253 million (up 55% from the first half of 2025), and an operating profit of $19.5 million (up 166% from last year).
AP Systems says that the sales of its OLED systems has surged by nearly 100%, and component sales rose 25%.
Last month, AP Systems announced that it is developing next-generation OLED mass production equipment, including PeALD for the deposition of HMO backplanes, as it sees opportunities in the OLED sector to introduce new production technologies. AP Systems is also developing new inkjet printers that will be used for the deposition of Optical Clear Adhesive Resin (OCR).
