DisplaySearch: OLEDs are expected to grow 1,700% in 2007

DisplaySearch, the worldwide leader in display market research and consulting, indicated in the Q4'06 issue of its Quarterly Worldwide FPD Forecast Report that flat panel display (FPD) revenues for all applications, displays ranging from <1" to 70"+, are expected to rise 14% in 2006 to $85.5B compared to $74.8B in 2005.

In 2007, AMOLEDs are expected to enjoy the fastest growth, up over 1700%, as Samsung SDI begins mass production primarily targeting the mobile phone market.
