Samsung to show new Super AMOLED Plus phones in February

Samsung says that they will show new phones in the Mobile World Congress (on February) - that will use Super AMOLED Plus displays. The phones will also feature Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) and dual-code processors.

The company also plans to announce new tablet computers (not clear whether they'll also do so in the MWC exhibition or at a later date) - new Galaxy Tabs. No word on the display used in those, but we know that Samsung will soon produce 7" Super AMOLED panels...

Samsung has used so many marketing words.. Super, Plus, whatever - that when the really important changes do happen, they get lost in the noise. From what I can get, this "Super AMOLED Plus" finally gets rid of the pentile matrix and moves to the conventional (but better) RGB matrix. So, once this is out, whoever says that LCD is better can be legally shot.
