Toshiba to release 30" OLED TV in 2009

Toshiba announced that they will release a 30" OLED TV in 2009. These will be larger than TMDisplay's announced prototype (21") earlier this week. Toshiba's President and CEO Atsutoshi Nishida said "To prepare both the high-end and commodity models, we are currently developing panels made from polymer (organic EL) materials as well as low molecular weight materials". Toshiba expects TMD to manufacture the panels that will be applied for its organic EL TV.
