The Asus ExpertBook B9 OLED (B9403CVA) eco-friendly laptop offers a 14" 2560x1600 (WQXGA+) OLED display, Intel's 13-Gen Core chipsets, and a magnesium-lithium body produced using Thixomolding to reduce waste by 29% and manufacturing time by 75%. The laptop is also made of 70% post-industrial recycled metal. Asus says that this is the world's lightest business laptop at 990 grams.
Asus' 2023 OLED Zenbook range include three laptop devices. First up is the Zenbook S 13 OLED, which is said to be the thinnest 13.3" OLED laptop ever at 1 cm. It sports a new 13.3" 2.8K 550 nits AMOLED display, several chipset options up to Intel Core i7 1355U, up to 32GB RAM a 1 TB SSD. The Zenbook S 13 OLED weighs 1 Kg.
The second laptop is the Zenbook 14X OLED, that has a 14.5" 2.8K 120Hz OLED display. It offers chipsets up to Intel Core i9 H-series and Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3050 graphics.
The Robo & Kala 2-in-1 laptop is a tablet/laptop hybrid device that offers a 12.6" 600-nits 2.5K touch AMOLED display and is based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 5nm chipset. The Windows 11 device offers up to 20 hours of battery life, is only 7.3 mm thick and weighs just 690 grams.
The company launched its product as a crowdfunding campaign, and it is now shipping for $799.
Lenovo's ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 (regular edition, and Yoga edition) both have an optional 13.3" 2.8K AMOLED display and can eb powered by either Intel's latest 13th-Gen chipsets and integrated Intel Iris X graphics or AMD's Ryzen 7000 mobile chipsets and Radeon graphics.
The ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 will start shipping in July 2023 starting at around $1,250.
Lenovo's 2023 ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 laptop offers either a 13.3" LCD or 2.8K OLED display, while the Z16 Gen 2 features a FHD or 4K AMOLED display. The laptops are powered by AMD's latest Ryzen 7000 series with integrated AMD Radeon GPU and offer up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM.
The ThinkPad Z13 and Z16 Gen 2 will ship in the summer of 2023, starting at around $1,750.
Samsung''s 2023 laptop series, the Galaxy Book 3 includes three models, all equipped with AMOLED displays. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro offers a 14" or 16" 2880x1800 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X VRR display, and Intel's 13th-Gen Core i7 chipset.
The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 has similar internal specifications, but only comes in 16" and is a convertible laptop that can act as a tablet, and so Samsung added integrated touch (OCTA) and S-Pen support. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra offers the same display as the Book 3 (16" 2880x1800 120Hz VRR AMOLED) but has stronger specification as it is intended mainly for gaming.
The Yoga Book 9i laptop offers two 13.3" 60hz 2.8K touch OLED displays, Windows 11 OS, Intel's 13th-Gen Core i7-U15 chipset, 16GB of RAM and 512GB/1TB of storage.
The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i will be available in June 2023 starting at $2,100.
Lenovo's ThinkBook Twist laptop has a swiveling base that you can use to choose from two displays: a 13.3" 400 nits 60Hz 2.8K AMOLED touchscreen, or a color 13.3" E Ink display. The E Ink will offer a much longer battery life (Lenovo says 21 hours) compared to the OLED display.
The ThinkBook Twist offers Windows 11 OS, Intel's 13th-Gen chipset, up to 16GB of RAM and 1T of storage.
Gigabyte's Aero 14 OLED laptop (2023 version) features a 14" 2.8K (QHD+) AMOLED display, an Intel chipset (up to Raptor Lake-H) and GPU options up to and RTX 4070. The Aero 16 offers a 16" 4K (UHD+) AMOLED.
The company did not yet say when the new laptops will ship, and at what price range.
The Asus ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED and Vivobook Pro 16 3D OLED are two 2023 laptops that are the first to feature Asus' Spatial Vision 3D technology which enables glasses-free 3D images (via a lenticular lens layer and eye-tracking cameras). There's also a Liquid Crystal switching layer that enables to change the screen into a regular 2D display.
The two laptops offer the same 16" 120Hz 3200x2000 OLED display. The fast response time and the high contrast results in very good 3D image quality, which could not have achieved with an LCD display, according to Asus.
