A week ago we reported that Philips is going to release a new 'secret' TV. There were rumors that it will be an OLED TV, but it ain't so - Engadget reports that the new TV is an ultra-widescreen (21:9 ratio, that's cinema-proportion) LCD.  Similar entries |

As much as it was known widely couple years ago they decided to focus on OLED lighting and cut all RnD efforts in OLED TVs.
