eMagin Posts Record Revenue for Third Quarter

eMagin (making OLED microdisplays) has posted their financial results for 3Q 2009. Quarterly revenue exceeded $6.1 million, and net income was $1.2 million. eMagin also reports substantial manufacturing yield.

Just a few days ago eMagin reported a new $6 million US army project for OLED microdisplays.

They should upgrade their flagship product

It would be good if they used this money to upgrade their aging flagship product. eMagin's Z800 3D visor which has released 4 years ago and has not been upgraded ever since (except for some hard to notice internal optimizations). What are they waiting to put their SXGA displays in their HMD and to improve FOV?
