Doosan to develop and commercialize OLED Lighting

Another company is starting to work on OLED lighting: Doosan Electronic. They have signed an agreement with the Korean Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) to co-develop the OLEDs. They plan to use white phosphorescent materials that feature high efficiency and long lifetimes. 

The Doosan group had another company involved with OLEDs, Doosan Mecatec (formerly Doosan DND). They have been involved in OLED manufacturing equipment back in 2004/5, but have stopped their OLED program a while back.
