SmartKem is an early-stage company developing technology for the TFT backplanes (thin film transistor) that drive the frontplane pixels of display technologies such as OLED, LCD and E-paper. They are focusing on organic TFT as an alternative to silicon based TFTs.

Polymertronics is a UK based startup, working on OLED plasters to cure skin-related diseases (such as cancer, acne, and others). 4D Systems is an Australian Research & Development company specializing in the design and manufacture of microcontrollers designed to drive OLED and LCD displays. 4D Systems also designs and manufactures intelligent and cost effective μOLED and μLCD display modules for rapid application development purposes or as stand-alone systems.

Corning is one of the world leaders in glass and ceramics - working on these materials for 150 years. Corning is active in several markets - display technologies, Enviromental technologies, telecommunications, life sciences and others.

Corning has two products aimed for OLEDs:

• JADE, an advanced display glass
• VITA, hermetic sealing solution for OLEDs (available for licensing only)

Sim4tec is a provider of scientific software in the field of organic electronics. The end users are research labs, universities or industrial customers.

Their main product is SimOLED, a comprehensive simulation software for electrical simulation of OLEDs.

AsTEK is a privatly held company, based in Korea.

In January 2009 AsTEK bought Leadis' display driver business, which included both PMOLED drivers and AMOLED drivers (although Leadis remained the owner of the AMOLED EpiC technology IP).
